Even if they’re not great with words
When you’ve been engaged for two minutes and everyone just wants to know if you’ve set a date
which you haven’t… but you have discovered pinterest

and you think about eloping
but you stick with your guns
because you’re marrying your person
and you’re excited
when you write your vows
when your older relatives are trying to use your wedding hashtag
when you find your wedding outfit
when someone asks if you’re doing a choreographed first dance
when the day is finally here
and everyone who was questioning the plans has a great time
because it’s pretty much the best party ever
