Family photography is one of my absolute favourite things to shoot. Sometimes I think that we forget, in this age of Insta-stories that disappear after a few hours, selfies and social media that photography isn't just about instant gratification. Family photographs only get more important the more time passes. When I look at my favourite photos from my childhood they're the photos that show the daft everyday moments, at home.

We take so much of the everyday for granted... we don't always take the time to remind ourselves that one day, we'll look back with pangs of nostalgia. The spaces we lived in. How we dressed. How small the children were. The favourite books we read every night, until one night we just didn't anymore.

So, no stark, white studios. Your home, how it is right now. Photos to love now, and photos to love in ways you can't fully appreciate yet in five, ten, twenty years... more.

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Family photoshoots at home take up to four hours. It gives us time for a cup of coffee and a chin-wag, time to capture your day-to-day things with time for you to get used to having your photo taken and relax. You won't be sold to or have to choose which images you'd like to keep... hi-res digital copies of your final, edited images will be included in your session price.
